From the days of skinned knees after falling off my bike as a kid, to the dust that now collects on my frame and the mud that clings through winter rides — Dustyvelo is my ongoing journey into the heart of the bikepacking community. What started as a simple love for being outdoors has grown into a photography project that captures the adventure, freedom, and friendships found on two wheels.

Through Dustyvelo, I’m not just honing my photography skills; I’m connecting with people who share the same curiosity and passion for exploring the world by bike. Together, we share stories, meals, campfires, and the quiet moments in between.

For me, Dustyvelo is more than a project — it’s a way of documenting the spirit of bikepacking across Europe, and a tribute to the resilience, camaraderie, and sense of freedom that come with life on the road.

That’s also why I’ve created some merch based on my own designs — to spread the word, share the ride, and inspire others to be part of this growing subculture.
